How do I apply for indemnity insurance with NZMII and what does it cost?• Trainee Interns are entitled to FREE NZMII Indemnity Insurance. You can apply directly at nzmii.co.nz• PGY1s can join the NZMII Group Scheme which Health NZ/Te Whatu Ora pays for so there is no out-of-pocket expense for you.Your employment papers should include the option of choosing the NZMII Group Scheme (aka the RDA scheme). Your RMO unit will then adviseNZMII that you wish to join, and you will be included for the following year.NZMII will email a policy conrmation letter to you shortly after you begin PGY1.In subsequent years, if you remain working for Health NZ/Te Whatu Ora, advise your RMO unit that you wish to continue on the NZMII Group Scheme and your cover will be renewed.Why choose NZMII?The Condence of Guaranteed Cover.We stand by you.
